Glen Johnson

Glen Johnson is the founding member of Hot Horns. He received his BM degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati, Ohio, and his MM in Trumpet Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. His orchestral resume includes engagements with Baltimore (MD) Symphony, Owensboro (KY) Symphony, Anderson (IN) Symphony Orchestra, Richmond (IN) Symphony, Illinois (IL) Symphony, and Peoria (IL) Symphony, Glen has performed with International Christian Music Recording Artist Michael W. Smith and Trumpet virtuoso Allen Vizzutti. He is a regular recording studio session musician at Sweetwater Productions, and The Lodge Recording Studio. Glen has held the position of Professor of Trumpet and Director of the Brass Ensemble at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. Hehas performed in all of the lower 48 United States and worldwide in Korea, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden.
