Hailed as “a truly modern virtuoso” (Roydon Tse, composer), JEFFREY LEUNG is an active performer and educator. Jeffrey is the Assistant Professor of Saxophone at Queen’s University, serves as the Associate Director of the International Saxophone Academy, and performs with the Maryland Chamber Winds and Moanin’ Frogs saxophone sextet. Curating musical programs spanning traditional to contemporary repertoire, Jeffrey has performed throughout North America with upcoming appearances with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Kingston Symphony Orchestra. His work with composers have resulted in the premieres and commissions of over thirty new works for the saxophone. Several of Jeffrey’s performances can be found on albums and recording projects by people|places|records (PPR), Tonsehen, and Sly Pup Productions.
