Chicago-based trumpeter and composer Josh Rzepka has been featured on NPR and PBS, and his music has been played on jazz radio stations across the world. His album Into the Night charted at #9 on the JazzWeek radio chart, and #5 on the CMJ Jazz chart. In 2019, he published his first book, The Versatile Trumpeter: Duets Vol. 1, co-authored with Roger Ingram. Josh has released four albums to date, Trumpet Genesis, Into the Night, Josh Rzepka: Baroque Music for Trumpet, and Midwest Coast. As an educator he’s presented masterclasses and clinics at the highschool and college level, has twice been an academic artist in residence at the Steamboat Springs Strings Music Festival, and has presented at the ITG conference and the Brazil Jazz Trumpet Fest. Since 2015 he’s toured with Under the Streetlamp and has appeared on stage with the Detroit Symphony, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Cleveland Pops, Temptations, and many others. He is an endorsed artist for Denis Wick and Robinson's Remedies.
