Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson is currently touring internationally with Cirque du Soleil’s production of “KOOZA,” where he's performed for approximately 2 million people across five continents As a classical and orchestral player, he has appeared with the Columbus, Owensboro, and Carmel Symphony Orchestras, as well as the Cleveland Orchestra’s Blossom Festival Band. Partnering with, Hal Leonard Corporation, Johnson has published two books: The Beatles Session Parts, a collection of 20 note-for-note scored transcriptions of the Beatles’ session players’ string, woodwind, and brass parts, and Trumpet Aerobics, a 365-day workout routine for developing, improving, and maintaining trumpet technique. Johnson holds a MM degree in Jazz Studies from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, studying with John Rommel and Pat Harbison and graduating with high honors. He also holds a BM degree from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, studying with Jack Sutte and graduating magna cum laude.
