Leonard Foy

A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Leonard Foy serves as Professor of Trumpet at DePauw University School of Music and artist/faculty at the Shell Lake Arts Camp, Birch Creek Academy and Interlochen Arts Camp. His appearances include extensive engagements with the Indianapolis Symphony and Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, the Grammy Award-winning Nashville Symphony Orchestra and as an inaugural member with both the Gateways Music Festival Orchestra, Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and the Brass band of Battle Creek. A Conn-Selmer artist, Foy holds a bachelor’s and master's degree from the Eastman School of Music where he was awarded the coveted Performer’s Certificate and has completed extensive work as a doctoral candidate at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN.
