Mel Scott

RIAA Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum and Billboard Award artist, Baritone Saxophonist/Woodwind Player Mel Scott is an accomplished Composer/Arranger, Producer and Performer with more than 250 published compositions. In his unique career, Mel has amassed an impressive resume. Mel began performing while in high school and after attending Berklee College of Music traveled extensively performing and recording with Volo-Volo, The Skunks, The Delfonics, Barbara Morrison, Roseanne Barr & the Dixx, The Flying Camels, Rian Basillo & the Roosters, Kingston a Go Go, LaTina Webb, BackBeat Brawlers, Peter White, SKA sensations “The Untouchables”, and the English Beat featuring Dave Wakeling. Performing with Peter White they received the 2013 Billboard Award and Groove City Smooth Jazz song of the year for the song “Here We Go”.
