Michael Miller

Michael Miller joined The Cleveland Orchestra during the 2006 Blossom Festival season. He earlier held positions with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, the Savannah Symphony Orchestra, the Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional in the Dominican Republic, and the OSN in Quito, Ecuador, where he performed and taught as a Fulbright grantee. He has been a featured soloist with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Wind Ensemble, and has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops, and the Stuttgart Ballet. Mr. Miller has taught at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the University of South Carolina, and Queens University of Charlotte, and is currently a faculty member at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Additionally, he is a coach for the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra. Michael Miller holds degrees from Baldwin-Wallace College and the University of Cincinnati.
