Norlan Bewley

Norlan Bewley was a founder and toured with Quintessential Brass, Top Brass, and UpBeat Brass. He is a Low Brass Artist performing on and teaching Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba. A former student and longtime professional colleague of Harvey Phillips, he serves as Music Director of Phillips’ tuba ensembles and projects, including TUBACHRISTMAS. His publishing company, BEWLEY MUSIC, specializes in low brass music and is an SMP Press Plus Member. Norlan was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for music composition in 2005. His work has been supported by The National Endowment for the Arts, The Ohio Arts Council, and many other organizations. Norlan is a Bach and Holton clinician for Conn-Selmer, Inc.
