Scott Agster

Dr. Scott Agster has 18 years of experience teaching in higher education and currently holds the position of Applied Low Brass Instructor at Anoka Ramsey Community College. Dr. Agster also remains active as a guest artist and clinician, recently directing the Minnesota All State Jazz Band. You can find more of his educational materials at www.AgsterEd.Com.  Agster is also an active performer. He has had the opportunity to perform with many acclaimed artists and groups. His most recent national tours were with the Doc Severinsen Orchestra. Dr. Agster also composes music for several personal musical projects such as his Minneapolis Trombone Masterclass Duets. You can find his creative work at www.youtube.com/@scottagster. He earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Trombone Performance from the University of Minnesota.  He also holds a Master of Music in Trombone Performance and Bachelor of Music Education from the University of North Texas.
