Sharon Knox Deuby

Sharon Knox Deuby enjoys a varied career as an orchestral, band, and chamber musician as well as an educator. She is Principal Clarinet for the East Texas Symphony Orchestra, Associate Principal Clarinet for the Dallas Winds, Principal Clarinet for the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra and performs for Texas Winds Musical Outreach. Sharon has recorded 23 CDs with the Dallas Winds that have received international acclaim and Grammy Awards nominations. She has been a guest artist or clinician for the TMEA Conference, ICA ClarinetFest, OU Clarinet Symposium, Texas Clarinet Colloquium, Clarinet Solutions, and others. Sharon is a Selmer Paris and Conn-Selmer Clarinet Artist. Sharon is Adjunct Instructor of Clarinet at UT Tyler and Dallas College and faculty member for the Dallas Winds Band Camp and Honor Bands. She received her Master of Music in Performance from Michigan State University and Bachelor of Music Education with a concentration in special education from SUNY Potsdam.
