Bob Viavattine
Bob Viavattine has been a very active trumpet player on the Rochester Music scene since 1978. Bob is a former member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, as well as a former student of Chuck Mangione, & Vincent DiMartino. Bob has been co-leader of his own band, “Unlimited” for the past 15 years. Over the years, he has played on numerous radio & TV commercials. Bob is also very active in the school music programs in Rochester NY as an Education Rep for Music & Arts. He works hand and hand with music educators in and around Monroe County. Bob has performed on stage with members of Tower of Power: Adolfo Acosta, Mic Gillette & Tom Politzer. Also with Randy Brecker, Wayne Bergeron, Lew Soloff , Wycliffe Gordon, Richard Elliott, and Tom “Bones” Malone. Currently & for the past 6 years Bob holds down co-lead trumpet duties with Al Chez & the Brothers of Funk Big Band. Bob has also played on multiple tracks for the very popular music series “Studio Jams” on You Tube.
