Brian Rodesch
Saxophonist Brian Rodesch is versatile performer and educator whose experiences encompass a wide array of genres and styles. He has appeared with the Boulder Philharmonic, the Blue Lake Festival Orchestra, the Des Moines Big Band, been a featured performer on the Aquila Performing Arts Series (CO), and presented clinics, lectures, and master classes throughout the US. Brian currently serves as instructor of saxophone and jazz studies at East Tennessee State University. Prior to his appointment at ETSU, Brian served as Assistant Professor of saxophone and jazz studies at Simpson College. Brian holds a Doctor of Arts degree with an emphasis in saxophone performance and secondary emphasis in jazz pedagogy from the University of Northern Colorado, where he was a student of Dr. Andrew Dahlke. Brian is a Conn-Selmer and Dahlke Mouthpiece performing artist. He performs exclusively on Selmer Paris saxophones and the Virtuoso Series RS alto saxophone mouthpiece.
