Cindy Scaruffi-Klispie received a BM from Illinois State University and an MM from Northwestern University.Cindy has played with the Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, St. Louis Symphony, Elgin Symphony, SW Florida Symphony, Sarasota Orchestra, Monarch Brass, Rome Opera, San Carlo Opera, Orchestra of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, and RAI Orchestras in Napoli and Torino. She continues to play with orchestras in Florida. She studied with Adolph Herseth, Vincent Cichowicz, William Scarlett, George Vosburgh, Tom Crown, Luther Didrickson, Arnold Jacobs, Charles Schlueter, Roger Voisin, Susan Slaughter, Bernard Adelstein, Thomas Wohlwender, Leon Rapier, Herbert L. Koerselman, and Giuseppe Bodanza. Cindy has taught at Illinois Benedictine University, Florida Gulf Coast University, and currently at Florida Southwestern State College. She started the Suncoast Brass Quintet and has also created Trompettes Soniques, an all-women's trumpet ensemble which performed at the 2022 IWBC Conference.
