Francisco Fernando Arias García

Francisco Fernando Arias Garcia studied at the Conservatorio Superior del Principado de Asturias with Professor Ricardo Martínez Zufiaurre. For twenty-three years he was flugelhorn soloist and cornet in the Band of Music "Ciudad de Oviedo", performing on several occasions as trumpet soloist with this band. He has collaborated with the best bands in the region, such as those of Gijón, Avilés, Luarca, Corvera, Candas, and others. Francisco has extensive experience playing with ensembles such as the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, Real Filarmonía Orchestra of Santiago de Compostela, Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi", Chamber Orchestra of the Conservatorio Superior de Asturias, “Odón Alonso" Symphony Orchestra of León, Orquesta de Cámara Ibérica, among others. Since 1988 he has worked as a trumpet teacher in conservatories in the Principality of Asturias, devoting most of his time to the educational aspect, while maintaining an active performance schedule.
