Director for Brass instrument of the Orchestral Instruments Department in Jilin University of Arts, lecturer for French Horn, member of postgraduate tutor group for mid-bass brass instruments, deputy secretary-general of the musician’s association for wind instrument in Jilin province.
Gang’s career with French horn started in Russia by the age of 13. Soon afterward she graduated from Kazan Conservatory of Music in Russia in 2002 with her Master degree under the guidance of Russian horn players and meritorious artist U.I. SAMARSKY and E.I.KARPUCHIN. During the study, she was employed by the National Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Opera House and the National Drama and Theatre. In 2000, she was invited to participate to "Annual Meeting for French Horn Detmold" in Germany and received Second Prize and Excellence Award in the International Competition for wind instrument of the Republic of Tatarstan with Horn-Quartet and Woodwind Quintet.
She participated more than 800 tour in over 70 cities of more than ten countries and regions together with Xiamen Philharmonic where she worked in since 2002 after returning to China, in addition, she was also invited to work with many other orchestras, including Chinese National Symphony Orchestra; Central Opera House; Symphony Orchestra of Tianjin Conservatory of Music; Tianjin Opera and Dance Theater; Qingdao Symphony Orchestra; Hangzhou Philharmonic, Macau Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic, etc.
She worked as a teacher at Jilin University of the Arts since 2014 and was responsible for horn and brass chamber music and served as the conductor of the Wind-Orchestra at the same time. In 2016, she was invited as the judge of "Jinbao 2nd International Music Festival 2016 and 2nd Chinese Horn Festival". In 2017, she was invited by Beijing International Horn Festival to present a solo recital at "Chinese Performers Concert". In 2018, she was awarded with the “Excellent Instructor” in the 10th International Music Competition for Young Musicians in Vladivostok, Russia.
