Hideaki Nakaji

After working with Tatsuya Takahashi at Tokyo Union and Orquesta de la Luz, Hideaki Nakaji is currently active in various bands, sessions, and recordings such as Kenichi Tsunoda Big Band, Tropical Jazz Orchestra, Salsus Ingosa, Shigeharu Mukai, Takeo Moriyama, Yosuke Yamashita, Naoya Matsuoka, Tsunoda ☆ Hiro, Tetsu Shiotani, Saigenji, Fumio Ito, Machiko Watanabe, and Hiroko Williams.He is also highly regarded as a composer and arranger, and has provided works to many performance groups, including tropical jazz orchestras and salsas ingosa. His original songs "Obatara" and "Mi Tierra Natal" reached No. 1 on the FM hit charts in Los Angeles and Puerto Rico, and his arrangements have been published overseas as representative works of Latin jazz.
