Marcos Quesada

Marcos Quesada was born in San Lorenzo del Escorial (Madrid) in 1981. He began his musical studies in the "Padre Antonio Soler" music band of that town, with the trumpet teacher Antonio Rueda. Later he studied at the Professional Conservatory of El Escorial with Enrique Rioja and continued his studies at the Royal Superior Conservatory of Music of Madrid.Additionally he has studied with Bo Nilson, Luis González, Max Sommerhalder, Eric Aubier, Eduardo Díaz, Hakan Hardenberger, Vicente Martínez and Stephen Burns. He Solo trumpet with the Madrid Metropolitan Orchestra and regularly collaborates with other ensembles. He is also a professor at the “Manuel Rodríguez Sales” Professional Conservatory in Leganés (Madrid).
