Pete Neighbour

Pete Neighbour, a London-based clarinetist, embarked on his musical journey with the violin, but quickly transitioned to the clarinet at twelve. Progressing through Associated Board grades, he achieved Grade 8 by 16. Jazz captivated him from an early age, kindling his passion for improvisation, a challenge he relishes to this day. During his teens, he formed a clarinet duo with Julian Marc Stringle, a fellow virtuoso, which remains a collaboration when their schedules align. Pete's jazz expertise spans various styles, from 1920s to swing and contemporary influences like Buddy de Franco and Eddie Daniels. He frequently explores diverse musical settings, performing with figures like Kenny Ball and engaging in varied opportunities, including performing Mozart on luxury cruise ships.
