Thomas Lempner
Thomas Lempner is a member of the music faculty at Cleveland State University and Notre Dame College. He performs with Ekklésia Reed Quintet and with various other jazz, classical, orchestral, symphonic, and experimental ensembles. Lempner has premiered solo and chamber works by Underhill, Janson, Quick, Jeffers, Thompson, Leese, Peterson, McDaniel, D'Alessio, Ballard, Stanziano, Auerbach-Brown, Rindfleisch, and Saunders. He has recorded on Convincing Sound Archives, Infinite Number of Sounds, Palmyra Music, Parousia Digital, and Ludwig Masters Publications. He has performed live broadcasts on WCLV 104.9, 90.3 WCPN, WRUW-FM 91.1, WCR-FM 97.1, WJW FOX 8 News, and was featured on Ideastream, Cleveland Ovations, and Positively Cleveland. As a Music Therapist, he has experience within corrections, autism, and urban youth populations. He is contracted by ORMACO to facilitate therapeutic music workshops with at-risk youth. He is an Army veteran with various awards and decorations.
