Vicente Olmos López

Vicente Olmos Lopez is the Principal Trumpet of the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra. He performed as guest principal trumpet with the Moscow Virtuosi and Reine Sofia. His repertoire is extensive and varied, encompassing everything from the Renaissance to contemporary music. He has been laureated in the International Trumpet Competition in Geneva (Switzerland). As a chamber musician he is a member of the Enrique Crespo Brass Ensemble, Karola Brass quintet, Terzetto XXI, the Iberian Baroque Three & Rasetka duo. He graduated from the Conservatory of Valencia where he studied with Leopoldo Vidal. He had further studies with Pierre Thibaud. His recording PLAYING OPERA, won a Silver Medal at the Global Music Awards in the Classical Music category. He works with students of the JONC National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia, JOSCAN Youth Orchestra of Cantabria, UIMP Resident Orchestra of the Menendez Pelayo International University. www.vicenteolmos.com
