Canadian saxophonist Wallace Halladay embodies virtuosity across genres, from traditional to jazz and contemporary music. Renowned for premiering new works, he's collaborated with composers like Berio, Colgrass, and Leroux. Wallace's performances, including concerto premieres and soloing with orchestras like the Vancouver Symphony, captivate audiences. As an educator, he's directed the Contemporary Music Ensemble and won the University of Toronto's Teaching Award. He earned degrees from the University of Toronto, New England Conservatory, and Eastman School of Music, studying with Arno Bornkamp. Wallace resides in Toronto with his family, pursuing musical symbiosis and nurturing the next generation of artists. He's a Conn Selmer Artist.
