Corey Graves
Conn Selmer Educational Clinician
Corey Graves is in his fifteenth year of education and serves as head director of Jackson Middle School in Forney ISD. Prior to this appointment, he served as the head director of Roma Middle School for eleven years. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree as a summa cum laude graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Music in Performance from The Ohio State University as a graduate fellow. Mr. Graves is a Bill & Melinda Gates Millennium Scholar. Bands under his direction have been recognized as the TMEA CC Honor Band, a recipient of the John Philip Sousa Foundation Sudler Silver Cup Award, an invited band at the Midwest International Band & Orchestra Clinic, and a National Winner in The Foundation for Music Education National Wind Band contest. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Clinic, is an active clinician and adjudicator, and maintains professional affiliation with TMEA, TBA, TMAA, and the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
