ELIZABETH SOKOLOWSKI is the Director of Student Performing Arts and Director of Bands at Villanova University in Villanova, PA. A graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree, she earned a master’s degree at St. Joseph’s University in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Sokolowski provides professional growth opportunities and leadership training for Musician Educators, design of inspiring band programs, and 21st Century Learning, Leading and Creating in Music Education. Her book, Making Musical Meaning: Unlocking the Value of Music Education in the Age of Innovation (GIA Publications, Chicago) is now available.
