Keith Hodgson
Conn Selmer Educational Clinician
Keith W. Hodgson is an Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of The Arts in Philadelphia. He teaches graduate & undergraduate conducting, percussion methods, instrumental pedagogy, and fieldwork experience, is the graduate Student Teaching Coordinator, and supervises student teachers in their elementary and secondary field placements.
Mr. Hodgson is a Past President of the Eastern Division and Chair of the Professional Development Committee for NAfME, a Past-President of NJMEA, a National Board Certified Teacher, and the recipient of the 2014 NJ Governor's Award in the Arts for Leadership in Music. Mr. Hodgson spent 26 years as a high school band director and music educator in New Jersey.
Mr. Hodgson is a Conn-Selmer Educational Clinician, the Director of Education for Zeswitz Music, the Conductor of the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble, and a Head Director of the American Music Abroad Tours to Europe. He is an active guest conductor, band clinician, and guest speaker.
