Sandra Mosteller

Freelance artist/teacher Sandra Mosteller performs as soloist, orchestral, and chamber musician and has been a featured soloist throughout the United States and in Belgium, Spain, Kenya, and Russia. She has been a university professor for over 20 years, currently teaching at William Penn University. Since moving to Iowa, she has performed with Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, Southeast Iowa Band, Quintessential Sax (tenor), Bullis-Rutter Big Band (alto). Dr. Mosteller performs clarinet in Sorores Duo with soprano Dr. Amy Rosine, (KSU). They recently performed at ICVT 2022 in Vienna, Austria and at ICA ClarinetFest 2022 in Reno. They can be heard on Soundset Recordings. Sorores Duo’s next recording, music works/commissions by Gwyneth Walker, should be released in the spring of 2023. She earned degrees from Truman State (BME, MA) Arizona State (MM), and University of North Carolina at Greensboro (DMA). She plays on the Selmer Privilege Clarinet, Pyne mouthpieces, and Vandoren reeds.
