António Quítalo

An acclaimed Portuguese trumpeter, António has built an exceptional career as Principal Trumpet of the Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa at Teatro Nacional de S. Carlos since 1993, as well as a Professor of Trumpet at ESART – Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas.

A prize winner of Portugal’s most prestigious competitions and a founding member of the Lisbon Brass Quintet, António has performed and recorded extensively, collaborating with leading conductors and ensembles across Europe.
