Barnaby is a versatile musician/multi instrumentalist (composer and music producer) due to his wide and varied career. (Barnabydickinson.com)Barnaby started his studies in Manchester at ‘The Royal Northern College of Music’ and ‘Salford University’ then graduated on to ’The Guildhall School of Music and Drama’ (1994-98) where he studied Jazz Trombone and Classical Piano.Since leaving the conservatoire, Barnaby has remained one of the first call session players on the London scene to present, performing and being a featured soloist with a vast number of world class artists, films and adverts ranging from Sting, Quincy Jones, Robbie Williams, Elton John, Kylie, Blur, Jamie Cullum, Rod Stewert, Strictly Come Dancing, Kid Creole and the Coconuts… to name but a few.Barnaby successfully writes and composes music for numerous Libraries, TV shows/films and commercial campaigns.He has been a music producer and MD for numerous West End shows (Rip it up 50’s, Rip it up 60’s, Remembering Fred) featuring stars and dancers from BBC1 ’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, (which he also happens to be a long time member of the band)Barnaby teaches Jazz improvisation at most of the Music colleges in the country including ‘The Royal Academy of Music’, ‘The Guildhall School of Music and Drama’, ’Trinity College of Music’ along with a successful ‘Patreon’ campaign.
