With a unique style and sound that echo the influences of his musical past, Brad Leali stands as one of the most notable saxophonists of our time. His vibrant tone, soulful phrasing, and unmistakable presence have earned him a place among today’s most respected voices in Jazz. Leali has toured and recorded with an extraordinary list of legendary artists. He spent several years as a featured member of the Harry Connick Jr. Orchestra and performed extensively with the Count Basie Orchestra, Clark Terry’s Big Band, and other major ensembles. His versatility and expressive playing also led to a long-standing role in the Kennedy Center Honors Band, highlighted by a performance for President Barack Obama’s Inaugural Celebration.An artist whose sound reflects both tradition and innovation, Leali has been praised internationally for his musicality. The Evening Standard (London) wrote that “his solos are sparkling and Cannonball Adderley influenced,” while The New York Times noted that “saxophonist Brad Leali was among the most soulful and exciting I’ve heard recently.”Leali is proudly endorsed by Conn Selmer Saxophones and D’Addario Reeds.
