Brandon Lee

Brandon Lee is a member of the Count Basie Orchestra, Christian McBride Big Band, Philly POPS Jazz Orchestra, Birdland Big Band, Eyal Vilner Big Band, and the David Berger Big Band. As a sideman, Lee has recorded over 2-dozen records for which he has won two Grammys. Lee studied at The Juilliard School, where he received a BM, MM and Artist Diploma. Lee taught at Juilliard in the jazz studies department, from 2008-12. In 2013 Lee moved to North Carolina to teach at the Miles Davis Studies program at University of North Carolina, Greensboro. He taught there for 5 years before returning to NYC. Lee continues to work with artists and bands in the NYC area, including, the Kenny Barron Quintet, Kurt Elling, Aaron Diehl, Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Maria Schneider Orchestra, Ron Carter Big Band, Jimmy Heath Big Band, Danny Jonokuchi Big Band, Darcy James Argue as well as on “Some Like it Hot” on Broadway.
