Bruce Williams, a dynamic jazz saxophonist from Washington, D.C., commands attention with his vibrant sound. Acclaimed for his albums "Brotherhood" and "Altoicity," he's also been a vital sideman on over 20 recordings. Collaborating with legends like Little Jimmy Scott, Stanley Cowell, and Roy Hargrove, Williams boasts versatility spanning traditional to avant-garde styles. DownBeat and The Charlie Parker Music and More Foundation lauded him, while Grammy-nominated projects and international stages showcase his mastery. He's the youngest member of the World Saxophone Quartet, part of drummer Ben Riley's Thelonious Monk Legacy Septet, and leads multiple bands. Williams also educates as Adjunct Professor of Jazz Saxophone at Bard College.
