Chen Zeng

Chen Zeng, the well-known trumpet player in China.  Director of Chengdu Symphonic Wind Orchestra, Director of Chengdu Jazz band, Principal trumpet of Chengdu Symphony Orchestra, guest principal trumpet of Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Assistant President of China Trumpet Guild. He studied with the famous trumpet plyers including Fan Yongan, Xie Yue, Che Zizhao, Dai Zhonghui, etc. After winning the prize at Asia Pacific International trumpet competition in 2008, he was invited to perform at Asia Musical Festival in Tokyo, Japan. In June 2009. Gold medalist of first National trumpet solo competition held in Zhejiang Conservatory in 2016. As the trumpet player, he was also invited to play at National Opera House as soloist for many occasions. He was also the judge at Asia Pacific International Trumpet performing competition in 2018.  To recognize Chen’s outstanding performance in music and trumpet performing, he was awarded “The best 10 Youth Elite” of the city of Chengdu.
