Dave Briggs is a Los Angeles–based drummer whose explosive energy and commitment to the craft have taken him around the world. Raised in South Central LA, Dave found his calling after seeing Dave Grohl perform and convincing his mother to buy him his first drum kit. What began as a yard sale purchase quickly became a lifelong pursuit, fueled by relentless dedication and a deep love for music.Over nearly two decades, Dave has built an international career as a touring and session drummer. He has performed with artists including Bag Raiders, Skizzy Mars, MAX, The Cab, Bohnes, Lauv, Yultron, Bryce Fox, and More Amor, and has recorded for Joe Budden and others. His touring résumé includes sharing stages with Maroon 5, Chance The Rapper, Duran Duran, All Time Low, Chic, The Fray, Marianas Trench, and Avril Lavigne. He has appeared at major festivals such as Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, Firefly, and Soundwave.Dave’s playing spans hip hop, rock, pop, electronic, jazz, and country, combining power, groove, and precision. Influenced by drummers like Dave Grohl, Tony Royster Jr., Travis Barker, Questlove, Steve Gadd, and Chad Smith, he brings passion and intensity to every performance.When he’s not behind the kit, Dave enjoys 90s sitcoms, horror films, video games, sneaker collecting, and pro wrestling—but music remains the center of his world.
