Fabrice Godin

Canadian trombonist Fabrice Godin currently holds the Solo Trombone position with Aarhus Symfoniorkester since 2021.

Fabrice completed a Master’s Degree from Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen where he studied with Jesper Juul Windahl and Torbjörn Kroon. Prior to moving to Denmark in 2017, he attended the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Diplôme de 5e cycle with James Box and Patrice Richer as his teachers.

When living in Montreal, Fabrice was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada in 2017 and 2018. He was also part of the brass ensemble Horizon - Ensemble de cuivres.

As a freelancer, he has performed with l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, The Royal Danish Orchestra, Göteborgs Symfoniker, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra, Aalborg Symfoniorkester and Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester.
