Jason Kush
Dr. Jason Kush, a dynamic saxophonist, educator, and scholar, holds an array of musical accomplishments. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in Saxophone Performance from the University of Miami, and has graced stages across genres in the US and Europe. A versatile artist, Kush's orchestral experience encompasses performances with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Russian National Orchestra. A member of the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra, he's collaborated with renowned artists like Paquito D’Rivera, Arturo Sandoval, and Benny Golson. Dr. Kush's scholarly pursuits include dissertations on saxophone innovations and articles for Saxophone Journal. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Slippery Rock University and Carnegie Mellon University Artist Lecturer.
