Kaitlin Wild
Kaitlin grew up playing the Cornet in brass bands and went on to study the Trumpet at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Academy of Music. Alongside her studies Kaitlin also took part in the LSO Brass Academy and the European Union Youth Orchestra.
After several years of freelancing in orchestras across the UK, Kaitlin joined the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra as Principal Second Trumpet before taking up her current position as Sub-Principal Trumpet with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Alongside her orchestral work, Kaitlin performs regularly with Chamber ensembles including Onyx Brass and has recently become a member of Septura Brass. When not performing, she enjoys teaching at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Kaitlin has always loved playing the exceptional instruments Bach makes and currently plays a 43G reverse leadpipe Bb trumpet. She is delighted to become a Bach Brass Artist and is really looking forward to working with them in the future.
