Kyle Resnick

Kyle Resnick is a trumpet player known for his versatility and contributions to both live performances and studio recordings across a wide variety of genres and musical styles. He has established himself as a prominent figure in the music industry through collaborations with a diverse array of artists and groups, from recording for Taylor Swift (“Folklore,” “Evermore,” and “Midnights”), Ed Sheeran and Bruce Springsteen, among several others, to Classical chamber and solo performances on concert stages around the globe, over two decades.

Kyle is a longstanding touring and recording member of the bands The National and Beirutand has commenced in 2025 on a world tour with the band Mumford & Sons.

He completed his Bachelor of Music at Indiana University, studying with Bernard Adelstein and John Rommel, and his Master of Music degree was completed studying with Charles Daval at the University of Michigan.

Kyle lives in Buffalo, NY with his wife, violinist Yuki Numata Resnick, their two children and Kuma, their Norwegian Elkhound.
