Portrait of Liam Kivijian

Liam Kivijian

Liam Kivijian is an Australian DJ, producer, and live trumpet player redefining how the instrument is experienced in modern electronic music. Known for blending live trumpet with house music and global club sounds, he has built a distinctive identity that bridges traditional musicianship with contemporary dance culture.

His musical upbringing began through formal training, performing in the high school senior jazz band, concert band, and orchestra, where he was 1st trumpet and lead soloist. During this time, he also performed at the Manly Jazz Festival, further developing his live performance experience. One of his primary musical influences is Doc Severinsen, whom he discovered at the age of 16. Drawn to his signature sound and command of the instrument, this influence played a key role in shaping his connection to the trumpet. Additional influences, including Chris Botti and Ramon Flores, have further shaped his musical identity and continue to inform his approach today.

After going viral with his trumpet car videos, KVISION has quickly risen to become one of the leading Afro house artists to emerge from Australia. His content has generated millions of views across social media, fueling a rapidly growing global audience. This momentum has translated into performances at major venues worldwide, including shows alongside artists such as Hugel, most notably at Hï Ibiza, ranked the world’s number one club by DJ Mag in 2025.

He’s released standout club tracks like ''Cachoeira'' and ''Amarr'' on Make The Girls Dance Records, which is one of the top Afro house labels in the world. Both these tracks feature original trumpet melodies composed and recorded by KVISION. Additionally, a key element of his sound is his Armenian heritage, which he incorporates through traditional melodies and reinterpretations of well-known songs. Most notably, his remix of the iconic track ''Tesel Em'' by Tata Simonyan fused traditional Armenian pop with Afro house. The track and accompanying video went viral online, featuring a standout trumpet performance which helped introduce this unique cross-genre fusion to a global audience.

Beyond releases, KVISION maintains an active international touring schedule, performing across Australia, Europe, and Asia. As he continues to grow, he is focused on expanding his global presence through new releases, international touring, and further refining his distinctive fusion of live instrumentation and electronic music.
