Logan Bryck

Logan Bryck joined the San Francisco Opera Orchestra as Utility Horn in 2025 after playing as a regular substitute since 2022.

Outside of opera season, Logan has a varied freelance schedule as both a section and principal player. He is a regular substitute with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, where he has held season contracts as both Associate Principal/3rd horn and 4th horn. He has also performed with the San Francisco Symphony, Oregon Symphony, San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Midsummer Mozart Festival, Auckland Philharmonia, Sarasota Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony, and many other orchestras around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Bryck began playing the horn in his public school band outside Portland, Oregon. He completed his undergraduate studies at Oberlin Conservatory and went on to study with Julie Landsman for his master’s degree at the Juilliard School. He spent several summers as a fellow at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California.
