Mathieux Davis

Mathieux Davis is a genre-blending drummer known for fusing gospel roots with the power and precision of modern metal. Raised on gospel and contemporary Christian music, he discovered rock and heavy metal after being introduced to Rock Band 2 in 2009. By 2010, he was behind his first drum set, developing his skills through YouTube lessons, school band programs, and studying players like Matt Greiner of August Burns Red, sharpening his double bass technique and technical control.In 2017, Mathieux began posting drum covers online, but his creative momentum accelerated in 2020 when he launched themed videos combining metal performance with gospel songs. The concept resonated widely, growing his audience to nearly 900,000 followers across platforms and leading to national touring opportunities and brand partnerships. He has since performed with country artist Reyna Roberts and toured with New Zealand metal artist Vana, bringing intensity, precision, and unmistakable personality to every performance.
