Mike Burton
For over 20 years, Mike Burton has worked as a professional saxophonist, touring extensively with Usher, Patti LaBelle, Jill Scott, Tyler Perry and many others. He’s played on hundreds of recordings, and released 6 solo projects. He’s worked in film and television, and on numerous award shows. As an educator, he’s served as an Artist in Residence in the US Virgin Islands with the United Jazz Foundation. Mike also serves on the board of governors for the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy. He’s a proud graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Jazz Studies.
