Noel Catura

Award winning saxophonist and Selmer Paris endorsed artist, Noel Catura has been a professional musician, composer, arranger and educator in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years. He performs and teaches in many genres, including blues, jazz, funk, Latin and rhythm and blues. Noel has performed with renowned artists such as Mary Wells, John Lee Hooker, Bobby Womack, Charles Brown, Eddie “Clean Head” Vinson, Albert King, Ike Turner, Robben Ford, Dave Weckl, Ernie Watts, Russell Ferrante, Joey DeFrancesco, Jeff Lorber and a host of others. Noel has performed around the globe at such prestigious venues and festivals including the Apollo Theater (New York), Royal Alberts Hall (London), Blue Note (New York), Buddy Guy’s Legends (Chicago), Montreal Jazz Festival (Canada), Notoden Blues Festival (Norway), Belgium Rhythm and Blues Festival, West Palm Beach Jazz Festival (Florida), Monterey Jazz Festival, and San Jose and San Francisco Jazz and Blues Festivals. Noel currently performs with his own ensemble as well as the JC Smith Band, Golden State Warriors Bay Blue Notes Band, Matt Finders & Friends and notable bands on the West Coast. He is a respected educator and teaches private lessons online and in person.
