Rafgee

Rafgee is a highly accomplished brass musician, celebrated for his work as a sousaphone and trumpet player. With an extensive background in classical training and jazz performance, he seamlessly blends tradition with modern expression.A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, Rafgee has earned numerous honours, including the Diplôme de Formation Supérieure with highest distinction. His career spans teaching roles at prestigious conservatories and performances as a trumpeter with leading orchestras, such as Opéra de Paris, Orchestre National de Lille, and Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse.Beyond classical music, Rafgee has made a name for himself in the New Orleans jazz and funk scene, performing sousaphone in various groups. He is a founding member of Delgres, an acclaimed rock blues trio, where his deep, powerful sound drives the band’s signature groove.
