Sebastian Philpott

Seb Philpott is a versatile musician, performing with chamber groups, orchestras, in West End shows and as a session musician. He studied the trumpet at the Royal College of Music, graduating with First Class Honours, the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna and has a Master of Arts degree from the Royal Academy of Music, supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. He is a member of the Old Dirty Brasstards, a 10-piece brass group, which performs regularly in London and at major festivals across the UK.As a session player he has performed live with Bastille, Harry Styles, Alfie Boe, Michael Ball, Michael Bublé, The Divine Comedy, Harry Connick Jr, Public Service Broadcasting, Rob Brydon and The Hoosiers. As a soloist, Seb has performed in the West Cork Chamber Music Festival with both the Vanbrugh Quartet and Concerto Copenhagen, and has toured Europe with the European Union Baroque Orchestra and New Century Baroque.
