Thanakorn Homneam

"Thanakorn Homneam began playing the trombone at the age of 13, during his first year of high school at Wat Suthiwararam School. He studied under the guidance of Mr. Suraphon Thanyawibul and Mr. Soraphot Worasaeng until he completed his sixth year of high school. He then continued his education at Kasetsart University, in the Department of Western Music, Faculty of Humanities. There, he studied with A. Arunakon Chaisuphankanok and Mr. Suraphon Thanyawibul and also learned conducting from Dr. Niphat Kanchanahut.He is currently a civil servant, holding the position of Senior Musician for the Trombone section in the PRD Big Band (Department of Public Relations Band), Department of Public Relations, Office of the Prime Minister. He is also a musician in the Chalermraj Big Band, which performs at the Royal Theatre, Sala Chalermkrung, and is a trombone player in other leading bands, such as the Suntaraporn Band."
