Tony Dagradi's musical journey started with the saxophone in a New Jersey suburb, eventually leading him to become a renowned tenor saxophonist. He studied at Berklee College of Music with notable mentors, including Andy McGhee and Gary Burton. Tony co-led "Inner Visions" before finding his home in New Orleans, performing with Professor Longhair and numerous icons. He collaborated with Carla Bley and thrived at Gramavision Records. His central project, Astral Project, stands as an innovative force in contemporary jazz. Tony's artistry resonates on albums with Bobby McFerrin, Mose Allison, Nat Adderley, and more. He's an esteemed professor at Loyola University, nurturing emerging talent.
