Tré Cool is the explosive and unmistakable drummer of Green Day, helping define the sound and energy of modern punk rock. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, and raised in California, he began playing drums at 11 and cut his teeth in the band The Lookouts, recording early releases on Lookout! Records before joining Green Day in the early 1990s.

Since then, Tré has powered some of the most iconic records in rock, including Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, American Idiot, and 21st Century Breakdown. With Green Day, he has earned multiple Grammy Awards, countless MTV and Billboard accolades, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015 during the band’s first year of eligibility.

Known for his speed, precision, and larger-than-life personality behind the kit, Tré has been recognized as one of the greatest punk drummers of all time. From stadium tours to surprise appearances with artists like Willie Nelson, his playing remains a driving force in rock music worldwide.
