Dr. Nola Jones
Conn Selmer Educational and Marching Arts Clinician
Dr. Jones recently retired as Director of Educational Programs for Conn Selmer, Inc. Before her tenure at Conn Selmer, Dr. Jones was Director of Visual and Performing Arts for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools.
Dr. Jones maintains an active schedule as a guest speaker, conductor, adjudicator, clinician, and program evaluator. She has been a featured presenter at the prestigious Midwest Clinic, NAMM Music Education Days, and serves as a clinician for Save the Music Foundation. At the request of the National Association for Music Education, Dr. Jones has served in multiple capacities. She currently serves on the Judge Administrative Team for Drum Corps International and is a member of the Bands of America Chief Judge Administrative Team.
Dr. Jones received the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Mississippi State University and the Master of Music Education degree from Mississippi College. She received her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of South Carolina.
