Joshua Cook is the instructor in Instrument Repair at Kansas State University, where he combines his passion for music and hands-on technical expertise to train the next generation of repair technicians and music educators in instrument repair.

He brings over 16 years of professional experience in band instrument repair, having served as Head Technician and Repair Shop Manager at Flint Hills Music 10 years, before joining the K-State faculty as the on-site repair technician for the K-State Bands, K-State School of Music. and Instructor of Band Instrument Repair.

Starting next fall, his "Band Instrument Repair for Music Educators" repair program will formally begin and will be offering a stand-alone 12-credit hour certificate as well as a 15-credit hour minor.
