A former Singapore Symphony Orchestra Trumpet (1982-1998) .and Band Director in Singapore. Now the Professor of Sichuan Conservatory of Music , Developed the first degree program in China focuses on wind band education, which filled up the gap in field of music education in China.

In July 2013, was invited as a jury member of the WMC Kerkrade, December 2017 lead and conduct the Sichuan Conservatory and performed in Chicago at The Midwest Conference. He also serives as Organizer of CSI (China) - China Band Educator Workshop Series 2017 – present.
