Description
With history dating back to 1750, Leblanc has built a reputation for manufacturing some of the finest musical instruments in the world. Blending heritage with innovation, Leblanc continues to advance the art of flute manufacturing.
Leblanc LPC311E piccolos feature a premium student hand-cut Grenadite™ headjoint with silver-plated keys hand-assembled on a Resonite™ body. Designed for effortless playability, these piccolos are ideal for the developing student, offering unmatched acoustic response, rich tonal depth, and broad dynamic range.
The Leblanc LPC311E student piccolo begins with a hand-cut Grenadite™ headjoint: a proprietary blend of six materials, predominantly Grenadilla wood, that delivers greater richness, warmth, and tonal flexibility than standard ABS resin. Built for easy first tones, the headjoint offers expressive, even response throughout all registers. Its conical bore and carefully engineered tone hole design result in an exceptionally in-tune instrument with resonant projection, built to withstand changes in temperature and humidity.
Drawing on features from Leblanc’s intermediate and professional models, the 311 series is carefully adjusted and balanced using German steel wire springs for feather-light, fluid, and responsive key action. The LPC311E also includes a split E mechanism to enhance the response and stability of third-register E, along with long-lasting Pisoni pads to ensure consistent seating and tone production. Every Leblanc flute is fully play-tested and professionally set up to ensure you're stage-ready right out of the box.
